Project description : Upgrade the lobby of the Espace Monterey building and rework the exterior.

Objective : to create a welcoming and functional lobby, to allow the building’s concierge service to develop and to work on the exterior of the building to make it a rejuvenating place for a lunch or an event.

For the interior, we reworked the volumes in order to give more importance to the concierge service and to allow it to develop (cabinet with a display case to present articles, integrated storage, sufficient space to manage the tenants’ dry cleaning,…). We chose to work with curves to give an elegant, warm and modern aspect to this new space. The waiting area’s furniture as well as the vegetal wall reinforces this feeling of well-being and warmth.

The building has a nice little garden, so we incorporated picnic furniture and electrical switches so that tenants can enjoy it for lunch, an informal meeting or even an Event.

We also reworked the access to this garden by adding plants and corten tubs containing aromatic plants that can be picked at the discretion of the tenants.
