Originally two raw, unfinished spaces designed for office use, this project was transformed into a fully functional pediatric medical center—warm, welcoming, and perfectly tailored to the needs of young patients. This was the challenge entrusted to us by a dynamic and passionate medical team: to imagine, design, and bring to life a place where high-quality care meets comfort and reassurance.
From the moment you step inside, the environment has been thoughtfully designed to soothe and reassure. The reception area sets the tone for a gentle, welcoming atmosphere, where every detail helps children and their families feel at ease. The main waiting room, spacious and filled with natural light, has been conceived as a playful and colorful space—ideal for stimulation, play, and relaxation.
Material Harmony
The project includes five consultation and treatment rooms, along with a medical laboratory. Each space was carefully designed to combine functionality with comfort, in a deliberately calming and welcoming atmosphere. Custom-made wooden furniture brings warmth and authenticity, while the color palette—featuring soft shades of sage, olive green, and off-white—creates a bright, natural, and enveloping ambiance.
The flooring plays with contrasts and textures: walnut-effect vinyl alternates with flamed gray tiling to introduce a subtle and elegant visual rhythm. This harmony of materials extends across the walls and decorative elements, enhancing the overall sense of freshness and cohesion.
Touches of walnut wood punctuate the interior with refinement, infusing the space with a contemporary yet reassuring feel.
This thoughtfully designed project is far more than a medical facility—it is a cocoon of well-being, an environment conceived to comfort, stimulate, and heal. A meaningful collaboration between a dedicated healthcare team and the creative minds of Proworks Design & Build, all in service of the youngest patients.
