In response to new post-COVID health requirements, Proworks was commissioned to design and fit out a new medical center located near the Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg (CHL). This new facility is intended to improve patient care and provide access to medical consultations outside standard office hours, while fully complying with current health and safety standards.
A Technical and Human Challenge
The primary challenge of this project was to transform a traditional open-plan office space into a fully operational medical practice. Proworks implemented a tailored technical solution to create a clear separation between infectious and non-infectious zones, directly addressing the challenges highlighted during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We carefully designed the flow of movement to avoid cross-contamination, integrated a specialized ventilation system, and developed a clearly defined zoning layout to ensure optimal hygiene and safety conditions. At the same time, we focused on creating a warm, welcoming, and calming environment—a space that reflects the care and human touch central to modern healthcare.
